The camp set up

We think we have a really nice set up for this trip. The van is packed to the rim without us feeling cramped up and the campsite is awsome when we set it up. The girls have their space in the van, we fold down the back seat and fold out a bed on top of it. The bed also doubles as a storage unit for all our food, water, propane and kitchen box while driving.

The kitchen box, custom built to fit under the bed in the back of the van.

And we have the big tent (that works well as long as it doesn’t rain) with our best buy on this trip, the king size memory foam mattress (we started out with a queen size air mattress but, no, it is not a good idea to sleep two people on an air mattress).

The van is a Dodge Grand Caravan from 2001 that we have pimped up to be a bad ass camper van 🙂 Bigger tires, roof boxes, built in bed and storage, extra battery for charging all our devices.

We love our van 😊 It is a soccer mom car transformed into kick ass camper!
